EclipseCrossword

EclipseCrossword is a tool which generates crosswords from a list of words and clues. The only thing that the user needs to do is enter the words/clues. The software then creates a crossword which contains these. Once installed, the tool can be used for classwork (to revise vocabulary and lesson content), or for websites and newsletters. Teachers can make use of the tool for class assignments, while webmasters and editors of newsletters could add a crossword to their website or publication in order to make it more interactive and lively.

Evaluation: The tool has a simple interface, with clear instructions which are easy to follow.. It also has a comprehensive ‘Help’ link . Crosswords can be created quickly and easily and students can access them directly via their web browser.
