Google Earth

With this famous Google platform with your students you can visit any place in the world without leaving the classroom. A 3D view option is now available in some parts of the world for taking an even closer look.

Evaluation: Apart from its traditional map use, Google Earth offers some very suitable options for bringing to the classroom, like the virtual travel itineraries, already set up in the tool, that you can browse by category (Nature, Culture, History...) and the option of letting Google select a random destination for you. Note that Google Earth needs to be downloaded in order to be able to use it for creating a trip.

Cost: Free without registration
