Memrise

Memrise is an online language learning platform that offers courses and interactive lessons to help users learn languages efficiently. Users can choose from different languages and levels, including beginner to advanced, and access lessons that incorporate vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking, and reading exercises. Memrise uses spaced repetition and memorising techniques to optimise learning and retention. It offers both free and premium plans. Users need an account to use Memrise. Evaluation: Memrise is a useful platform for learning a target language. It provides interactive lessons encompassing all linguistic competencies and has a catchy interface that makes learning more enjoyable. It also allows teachers to create and share their own courses, facilitating tailored teaching. Average IT skills required.

Memrise collects various types of personal data, including name, email address, username, profile picture, and payment information, together with learning data, including test answers, learning scores, progress within a course, and voice data for certain features for providing its language learning services. Playphrase (Tool to find the pronunciation of words from movies )

Playphrase is a tool that searches specific words or phrases out of movie snippets from a database of audiovisual media with over 60,000 phrases. In this manner, it provides real-life examples of words’ and sentences’ pronunciation.
