Storymaker

Storymaker is a tool developed by Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and Grable Foundation. With it students can write their own stories using characters, scenarios, objects and some pre-written text. Characters can interact with each other, express emotions and use the objects you provide for them. There is no limit to the number of characters or objects you can use.

Evaluation: The interface is simple and can be used by children. The type of interactions among characters is limited to the emotions and topic areas provided by the program and it is not possible to create your own characters. Nevertheless, you are free to edit the text of your story and play with the several options the tool gives you.

Cost: Free, without registration.
