French Language and Francophonie Week

French Language and Francophonie Week will take place from 13 to 21 March. The theme of this 26th edition is “French Language and Francophonie Week: a breath of fresh air!” A variety of events will be held to celebrate the use of the language of Molière at the international level and can be consulted on the following website: Semaine de la langue française et de la francophonie.

Both French and English are the official languages of the Council of Europe. You can access the ECML website in  French and English. ECML project resources are available in many European languages. Explore more than 70 resource websites in French resulting from ECML projects here. On the website dedicated to the European Day of Languages, you will also find a number of ideas for putting French in the spotlight during this week:
