Sutori

Principal function(s): Course management

Sutori is an online platform that allows educators to create interactive digital lessons for their students. Users can choose between using a template and modifying it or creating their own presentation from scratch. Sutori's free version makes it possible to create highly customisable lessons by adding all kinds of resources, be they texts, images, audio or videos. These resources are displayed on the platform along a timeline so that teachers can indicate to learners the order in which they might use them. Sutori also permits inviting students to create their own projects and to supervise their work. Here you may find ideas on how to use the platform with language students. Evaluation: Sutori gives educators the possibility to create fun and interactive lessons for their students. Some of the offered templates are classified by subject, thus making the preparation of classes faster and easier.

Users just have to type specific phrases, watch them being used naturally in context within popular movies and TV shows, and listen to their pronunciation. Playphrase works mainly with English. Playphrase is not open-source, but it is freely available. It does not require setting up an account or signing in. ... View details
