Storyjumper

Principal function(s): Story creators

Storyjumper is a website that offers teachers and students the chance to create their own digital books. There is a teacher option, that includes the option of creating a template for students to use. Users can write and create their own stories by adding text, characters, images and backgrounds. They can upload their own images or use the ones provided by the website. Users can also add voice recordings or add background music to accompany their stories. Changes in the book are saved automatically. Several users can work together on the same book. Evaluation: Storyjumper is an interactive, creative and fun way to encourage students to practice their writing and pronunciation skills. It is a useful tool for project work or to support collaboration between students. While it may seem complex to get acquainted with its functioning the beginning, students may find the creation engaging and motivating.
