ToonTastic

Principal function(s): Story creators

ToonTastic is a storytelling app that allows users to turn their ideas into 3D cartoons. It offers ready-made characters and backgrounds that can be used and modified for animations. Students can also add their faces on characters to feature themselves in the stories. Users can then record their voices and narrate a story. There is also an option to add background music. With the app you can draw and animate your own characters and backgrounds as well. ToonTastic can be used for narrating stories, documentaries or creating science and school reports. Evaluation: ToonTastic is a useful tool that allows learners to use their creativity. It can be used for practising listening, writing and speaking skills as well as improving pronunciation. By creating and recording animated videos learners can practice languages while having fun.
