Digital Dialects

Gamified language learning website that offers interactive materials for learning around 80 languages, including many minority and endangered languages. Materials contain exercises for practising and learning grammar, vocabulary, spelling, phrases and scripts and alphabets. Vocabulary lists are accompanied by audio for practicing pronunciation and listening skills. Exercises can be used for independent learning as well as in the classroom. Games and exercises are easy to use by young children. The website also provides information about culture and language, links to other useful resources and language learning tips.

Evaluation: Useful resource for learning basic vocabulary. It is particularly suitable for younger learners due to its interactive features. It contains games for learning minority and endangered languages such as Cook Island Maori, Horami, Saami, Nuiean and Karelian.
