Cam Studio

This is a useful tool designed to record screen and audio activity on your computer. You can use Cam Studio to record videos or to create tutorials for your lessons. Students can also use it when creating video presentations or tutorials. Available extra options include inserting webcam footage of yourself into your recording, adding captions or narrating over your footage.

Evaluation: This is a good resource for customising lessons. It comes with a variety of features such as whole screen recording or just recording a specific section. You can also tailor the quality of your video recording to suit your needs, for example in order to send as an attachment or to upload online. Cam Studio requires installation and comes with a ‘helpfile’ for any questions you may have.
