LearningApps

LearningApps is a web-based platform for creating educational activities and games. Teachers can design and publish interactive learning activities, such as quizzes, flashcards, puzzles, and matching games. Learners can then access these activities to improve their language skills. LearningApps is free to use and does not require any subscription or payment. While the platform is not open-source, its activities and resources are freely accessible and can be shared and adapted by users. Users can access LearningApps activities without signing up or having an account. However, registered users can save their favourite activities, track their progress, and create their own content on the platform. Evaluation: LearningApps is a valuable resource for creating classroom activities. It is versatile and can be adapted to any topic with the “create your own app” feature. The use of templates makes it accessible for anyone to use, so only basic IT skills are required.

Medium. LearningApps does not require any personal information but collects access data to create and analyse anonymous usage statistics. All learning modules created on LearningApps are private by default and cannot be accessed by others. LearningApps refuses liability for any security issue. Playphrase (Tool to find the pronunciation of words from movies )

Playphrase is a tool that searches specific words or phrases out of movie snippets from a database of audiovisual media with over 60,000 phrases. In this manner, it provides real-life examples of words’ and sentences’ pronunciation.
