The purpose of ThingLink is to allow you to enhance images and videos by adding notes, photos, audio, video links, etc. This means that you can create additional clickable content in an existing image/video, with additional information (videos, textual explanations), quiz questions, etc. The free version for teachers allows you to edit images only, for a single class of up to 100 students. The images are hosted on Thinglink and can be shared and embedded on other websites. Evaluation: The teacher interface is simple and easy to use. The free account is limited to tagging images only. The tool offers a relatively easy way of adding at least some interactivity to an otherwise static image. Students can get involved by, e.g., tagging an image with a Google Form (where students need to provide an answer), as well as tagging images and sharing with the rest of the class. The limitation is that only one student can work on an image at a time.
