This web portal "by German citizens and for German citizens" presents a large variety of practical information, for instance on German institutions, regions and Bundesländer (departments within Germany), but also on bank codes and postal codes, museums and religion. The total number of links is enormous / immense, however, not all areas are covered exhaustively, for instance museums. The site is available in German only.
