Anki

A flashcard tool helping users memorise facts, words etc. It supports images, audio and video and can be synced with other devices (downloadable on smart phones). Can be installed on a PC or else used online through setting up an account.

Evaluation: A good tool for question and answer management. Teachers can create a set of flashcards and share it with students, to study individually at home or recreate a quiz show in the classroom. It is very useful for memorising facts, but as it supports video and audio, Anki can be used for enhancing language skills such as listening and pronunciation. Average IT skills are prerequisite for using Anki.
