Early language learning

The ECML aims at facilitating very early language learning.  Training programmes for teachers in the pre-primary sector in many cases do not include professional approaches to plurilingual and intercultural pedagogy. Therefore, the EMCL provides support for developing tools for teachers of very young learners allowing for developing professional competences in this area.

The project will develop a tool for reflective practice in initial teacher training, targeting professional competences and attitudes of teachers of 3 to 6 year olds with regard to languages and cultures.
